Handicap index question

If I only play 9 holes of an 18 hole course and post the score, does it skew my handicap index?  Or does the system not use the score in the handicap index because it was not a complete 18 hole round on the 18 hole course?

The system will not use incomplete rounds to calculate your handicap.

innaccurate handucap tracker VS STATS

Hello,

I am not familiar with the igolf site, but I am with the mygolfrecord.com site.  This iigolf.pro site shows that my idex is 2.3 which is false.  in order for me to have an index this low i would  have to have played numerous rounds at par or better to be this low.  My best round in the system is a 77 at Maple Ridge. 

Why is this and how do I correct it?  Is it calculating my putts per round as an official score?

Please let me know what i can do to correct this and what i should do when entering scores in the future.
