Go to usga.org and check the handicap heading. I believe you take the 13 hole score, and add the remaining par scores plus the handicap you are allowed for each hole.
toby ... im going on a limb here but i cant see how that could be right because if i wanted to better or {sandbag } my handy that just seems to easy ..bro i think youre just gonna have to lose the 4 holes onthe back and keep the nine but im not sure .. and in saying all this i do think they should be scored im just not sure its by adding par scores for the remainder that just doesnt seem right to me but what do i know they have me rated a 7 lol and the year has just began for me

Toby didn't say "add par scores for the remainder" and stop.
He says add par scores for the remainder PLUS your handicap.
That being said, I don't know the rule either.
