I am considering buying some new clubs and wonder if the on line club fitting progams are worth while (as opposed to going to a Pro or a Pro shop to be fitted)? These programs make recommendations based upon your physical measurements, swing speed with a driver and typical drive distance without ever seeing you swing. I would appreciate any comments on experiences anyone has had with using these programs as clubs cost enough I would like to get it right the first time.
The online versions are more
The online versions are more if you've been fit by a pro in the past and already know your numbers. Going to my local pro was the best thing I've done in my time golfing. Bar none. I'm set for several years now with the clubs that I was fit for.
club fitting
Thanks fro the input. That is what our pro told me too but i feel better hearing it from someone that doesn't have a vested interest.
online fitting
go to your local shop--on-line fitting does not take into consideration the way you swing!!
