Greetings All,
I have already written down the specs, i.e the loft, lie and length but I am still struggling a bit, Do any of you have any pointers as it pertains to hitting blades efficiently. I know these clubs are awesome but my game has suffered in the past week and some people have told me to take a steeper angle when coming through the impact zone and address the ball near the hozzle. These are all great ideas but there is something missing. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Congrats on the Mizunos,
Congrats on the Mizunos, they are top-notch clubs. My best advice is to practice, practice, practice until you get used to hitting blades. I have Nike Pro Combos, and it took a bit of practice hitting the short iron pure blades (the 7,6, and 5 have a semi cavity/muscle back to them, making them easier to hit)
Personally, I come in a bit steep with them, but I think its more of an individual thing.
Keep at them though, the control you have with blades is unmatched when you tame them :)
I switched from Cobra
I switched from Cobra Oversize cavity back's to MP 30's. I really didn't notice too much difference. Actually improved my scoring. In fact my mishits still go strait, just lose some yards. Granted MP 30's are more forgiving than the MP 14's. Keep the practice up!

Hello,
I also recently switched from a cavity back to Mizunos.. I generally hit about 35% pured, and about 65% feel like a cold day in little league.. Apparently on a given weekend round I can score anywhere from an 81 to a 106..
The truth is, we probably aren't good enough ball strikers for these clubs.. I've been working on the swing, try to remove moving parts, and have seen some results.. Its work though, for sure..
Switching to blades for me was sort of like when you are a little kid, adults told jokes that you didn't get because they were over your head.. Then you get older, and you have to learn humor all over again..
Mizunos are adult jokes.. I hope this information is helpful..

I switched from a cavity back to a mp33 a few years back. The process can be painful at times (literally), but the ball flight control you stand to gain is worth the growing pains. If you continue to struggle consider going to a forged cavith back (Titliet AP1, Callaway X Forged) to get a little more forgiveness and still great control.
thanks for taking the time
thanks for taking the time to offer some feedback and personal experience. I appreciate it and I have been practicing and I am learning very quickly what I need to do to enjoy the new set of clubs and improve my game all in one.
