New Irons

I'm on the market for some new irons. I'm currently hitting 1978 Hogan Apex II's. I like a blade or at least a players iron, i've been looking real close at AP2's and Nike Victory Red's. Any suggestions or opinions would be awesome, Thanks!
New Irons
I picked up the 2008 model R7 Irons (Steel shaft stiff) and I would recomend them to everyone. Lots of places still have old stock (unopened) from last year so you can these at a real bargain if you hunt around the internet a little. I have not seen enough of an improvement on the R9 irons to warrant the increase in price.

Get some Mizuno blades if you can. They are the best set of irons I've played.

Late last year(2008) my calloway x14s were stolen. Wanting to finish out the season, I bought some knock off clubs. The second round I played with them I shot an 84 with a one over par 37 on the back nine. I bought 2008 Calloway Big Bertha knock off irons and love them. Based on this site, my handicap index is 12.7 with these irons with an average score of 86.7. I am happy spending less than $150 for these irons as compared to $699 for Calloways!
